friends

It takes quite a bit to become Jered's friend, but once you're in that group, you've got a friend for life. Jered is a very protect person of his friends, and is willing to do anything for them. Hence why he is so picky about who he befriends - his friends have to be equally loyal or he loses. Even members from his hometown rarely made it into his little sociable group, and ever since he was a child, he was a little on the quiet side. Jered has been known to drive across Manhattan to pick up friends that are in need of a ride, or even borrow them a few hundred dollars if need be.

Being a jealous as Jere is, it's pretty easy to get on his bad side. He dislikes when his friends' attentions are taken away from him, and he can become very possessive over people that he's fond of. He has been known to hate people after a small scuffle, not willing to let grudges die. He can be hot-tempered with certain subjects, although he always lets people know when they should tread water around him. He's generally a good guy about it, more willing to walk away from a fight rather than duke it out.

romances

Jere loves sex, but he rarely engages in it unless there are underlying feelings. He feels as if the act of intercourse is pointless unless the two have a connection. As a youngster, he used to jump from one fling to the next, and since then had grown more mature about relationships and has realized how silly he was back when he was a teenager. He's usually a very hard person to get close to, though, so it's hard to become good enough friends to date. He's a complicated guy, really.
