HOUSING
Everyone has to have a place to live, right? It's no different here!! When creating a character, you'll have to consider what kind of housing you'd like them to have- but you have to have the money for it. Here are the descriptions of all the available hotels in New York City, at the moment. Purchasing can be done so at the shop, so please don't forget to find your way over there!
$0.00 - Home-living will be restricted to necessities with a certain amount of luxuries. Unless your character's family is extremely rich, their house will not look like any of the expensive hotels in New York. This is free, as your character's parents are paying for you. It comes with its' downfalls though, as you must share a home with your parents and follow their rules. Wouldn't you rather get a job and save up some money so you can get an apartment?
$350 - Broadway Apartments are located in Brooklyn, and so gain much traffic. Despite this, it is one of the dirtier apartment buildings of New York. A few customers have reported finding cockroaches beneath various appliances in their apartment, but what can a small bug do to you? Nothing! That's right. Broadway offers:
$500 - Dorms are convenient because they are located right outside of the University. They are restricted to college students only, as the school hosts the rooms. They come with a shower and two beds (shared dorms) as well as a tiny kitchen for making food. A small fridge, toaster, and a microwave are placed haphazardly in the kitchen. Drug and alcohol use is monitored by the authorities, although somewhat lazily. Parties are easily heard about though, and cops often bust them.
$750 - Embassy Suites is a nice little place with around twenty apartments available. They often have vacancies and are reasonable when it comes to prices, and so are quite common. Students often house here if they don't like sharing the dorms with another student. The basic essentials are available, including:
$1,500 - Brooklyn Heights is a traditional neighborhood with few houses on the market at any given time. They are generally stylish with different themes to each one. When purchasing a house, characters can tweak details a bit to make their home unique. All houses have these necessities:
$3,000 - Hilton New York is an extremely large, stylish hotel located in Midtown Manhattan. There are spacious accommodations with an 8,000-square-foot fitness center. With nearly two-thousand guest rooms and suites, the Hilton New York is almost always offering a vacancy. When entering this amazing building from the hustle and bustle of New York City, guests are awed with the beautiful lobby, arranged for easy check-in and check-out. Once checked in, a bell hop will take your bags and give you the key to your room, leaving you to do whatever errands or activities you have left for the day. If you are settling down for the night, you may check the number located on your key, the floor number (will be 1-44) and take the elevator to your room. Various things included in this hotel include (Standard Guestroom):
