Standing at five foot seven, Lavi isn't the tallest on the block, and may be considered a little vertically challenged by some. His build matches his size, as he's rather lightweight, muscled but not bulky, with a compact figure. Due to the amount of time he spends in the sun, his complexion is a healthy peach. His facial structure somewhat angular with a touch of pretty boy flare, with his bright green eyes being one of his most distinguishing features. He wears his blonde hair long, the pale locks reaching his shoulder blades. His sense of fashion varies depending on what he's doing at any given time. During the day, he keeps himself well-groomed and sticks to dress clothes, while at night he dresses casually, verging on risque at times. His right ear is pierced, as well as the right corner of his lower lip, and when he wears his jewelry they're usually connected by a thin chain. He also has the words Das nicht zu Hause sein tattooed in a calligraphy script along the left side of his ribcage.

Though he does his best to suppress it during his day job, Lavi is addicted to both attention and pain. He'll fight to remain the center of attention whenever he's around someone he's close to or interested in, even going so far as to push their buttons. Lavi's childhood wasn't as bad as it could've been. His parents didn't beat him or anything of the sort, really. But there was no love in their household. The middle child of three, the group of boys were left to fend for themselves. Their dad was always gone, drinking or on the road for his job, and though their mother was around, more often than not she was passed out on the couch. He tried to turn to his siblings for the support not given by their parents, but his eldest brother was often too busy taking care of the youngest and so he was left to his own devices.

His teenager years were chaotic. The neglect he received from his family resulted in him acting out and getting himself into questionable situations. While there wasn't much of a response from his parents, the authorities at school definitely took note, and most of the time he was serving detention. Against all odds though, he managed to graduate high school with serviceable grades.

As he grew, he learned how to reign in his attention-seeking behavior just enough to be able to deal with having a real job. After skirting by on C's through college, he managed to land himself a cushy social services job helping place kids into foster homes. It was his own little way of making sure kids got the love he never had. Despite how fulfilling this was, it wasn't enough to satisfy all of his urges, and eventually he found himself roaming the streets in search of excitement.

One thing led to another and he was earning money for his deeds. Lavi wasn't about to complain, it brought in extra cash and earned him the attention and harm he so craved.
